Sessions and fees
I offer a free 20 minute consultation before we begin, so you have the chance to ask questions and we can both decide whether I am a good fit. There is no obligation to book afterward.

- Individual session50 minutes · $160
- Extended EMDR session90 minutes · $220
A sliding fee scale is available if the full rate is out of reach. I can also provide a superbill for you to submit to insurers I am not paneled with, which many plans will reimburse at out-of-network rates.

How billing works
I work with Headway in order to allow billing through most major insurances. At this time I am unable to offer billing with Medicaid or Medicare.
Not sure whether your plan is covered? Ask during the consultation. Between Headway, the sliding scale, and out-of-network reimbursement via superbill, there is usually a workable path.
Common questions
Things people ask
How long does therapy take?
There is no honest universal answer. Some people come with a specific, contained issue and feel finished in a few months. Others are undoing patterns built over decades and stay longer. We will talk openly about progress as we go, and you are free to stop at any point.
What happens in the first session?
Mostly, I listen. We will cover what brought you in, some history, and what you would like to be different. You do not need to prepare anything or arrive with your story neatly organized.
Do I have to talk about the trauma in detail?
No. One of the reasons EMDR suits many people is that it does not require a detailed verbal retelling of what happened. You stay in control of what you share and when.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, and it works well for most people, including for EMDR. Some prefer in-person, and that is available too. We can also mix the two depending on your week.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours notice so the time can be offered to someone else. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged at the full session rate, with room for genuine emergencies.
What if I cannot afford your full rate?
Say so. A limited number of sliding scale spots are reserved specifically for this, and there is no awkwardness in asking. If I cannot accommodate you, I will help you find someone who can.

Take the first step
Reaching out is often the hardest part. A free 20 minute consultation is a low-pressure way to ask questions and see whether we are a good fit, with no commitment of any kind.
